One of the first active ingredients isolated from neem is Azadirachtin which has proved to be the tree’s main agent for battling insects.Azadirachtin is an extensively researched & widely acclaimed natural pesticide of outstanding merits.Azadirachtin is a mixture of seven isomeric compounds regarded as the most effective insect growth regulator.
The product is in powder form & used in formulations of biopesticides, veterinary products & herbal preparations. The mode of action of Azadirachtin is multifold, primary of which is an interference with the neuroendocrine system, which controls the synthesis of ecdysone & juvenile hormone. It will repel or reduce the feeding of many species of pest insects as well as some nematodes. If fact it is so potent that a mere trace of its presence prevents some insects from even touching plants. It may not kill insects immediately instead it both repels & disrupts their growth & reproduction. It has extremely bitter flavor to it that can make many insects stop feeding on the host plant.

Azadirachtin 1% E.C. is an emulsifiable concentrate formulation of Azadirachtin 1% w/w, a fairly high concentrated neem based biopeticide. Azadex has many modes of action with the primary role of disrupting an insect’s metamorphosis. Azadirachtin 1% E.C emerges as an excellent antifeedant & repellant when sprayed on plant foliage. It has an extremely bitter flavor to it that can make many insects stop feeding on the host plant. It is very effective in eliminating the pest menace in the field of agriculture & has the potential to replace widely used chemical pesticides.

Azadirachtin 0.15% is an emusifiable concentrate formulation of Azadirachtin 0.15% w/w concentrated neem based biopesticides that finds its use as an excellent antifeedant & repellant formulation.

Azadirachtin 0.03% is a neem based biopesticides formulation with a concentration of 300 ppm of Azadirachtin.It has antifeedant & repellant action on wide range of insects that cause damage to crops. Azadirachtin 0.03% acts on various insects.
